The function of a light mask is to suppress stray light from entering the lens, thereby eliminating fog and improving the clarity and color restoration of imaging.
1. When shooting with backlight, side light, or flash, it can prevent the entry of non imaging light and avoid fog;
2. During forward and side light photography, it is possible to avoid surrounding scattered light entering the lens;
3. During lighting photography or nighttime photography, it is possible to avoid surrounding interference light entering the lens;
4. The light shield can also prevent accidental damage to the lens, prevent fingers from accidentally touching the surface of the lens, and to some extent, shield the lens from wind, sand, rain, and snow.
